Nifty Fifty...Plus Special Events / Activities are listed below. These are coordinated by the NFP 1st VP but can be suggested and/or planned by anyone. mm

Orchard, Winery, Cidery Lunch / Outing NEW DATE !

Enjoy an afternoon outing just outside of Charlottesville.

After a lunch at Michie Tavern featuring all time southern favorites, we can enjoy ourselves either picking or purchasing orchard grown fresh seasonal fruits, fresh apple cider, apple pies, donuts, etc.

Before heading home, we'll also have time to stop and enjoy either wine (from grapes harvested on Carter Mountain), beer, or cider (from Bold Rock Taproom) while sitting outside enjoying the view from the mountaintop.

Time: Arrive 1:00 pm
Carpooling: Meet at Sales Center at 11:30 am to carpool.
Cost: Purchase your own. Lunch / Wine / Cider = "Dutch Treat"
• Lunch = Southern Style Buffet = $22.95 plus beverage, tax, and gratuity.

Annual Meeting & Dinner
(Sign Up HERE by Oct. 2)

This is the grand "Annual Meeting" of the Nifty Fifties...Plus!
This is the one event where we can ALL get together to meet and socialize, get an update on NFP activities, vote on new Board members, vote on any By-Law changes, and (for those present) enjoy a meal (at no-cost).

The meal will be a “Choose your ingredients* Pasta Bar” dinner with a served salad and dessert (*vegetarian and GF options available).

Place: • The Reserve Restaurant
Time:   • 5:00 pm Cocktail Hour (cash bar)   • Dinner at 6:00 pm sharp.
Cost:   • Free (Included in Membership Dues - we want everyone voting).

Hollywood Cemetery Private Trolley Tour

Come and enjoy Fall foliage and a 2 hour private guided trolley tour of the famed Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. This was one of the most popular interest outings on the Event survey. (Cemetery pdf Map)

Place:	Trolley will be waiting at Hollywood Cemetery
Address:	Albemarle St + S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220 (412 S. Cherry) Please park on the street or by the Garden area (?) (take the first right past the office and then an immediate right by the water fountain).
Time:	Arrive before 2:00 pm tour.
Carpooling:	Meet at The Sales Center at 1:00PM to drive to the cemetery
Cost:	$600 per Trolley = $30 ea. w/Max 20 persons. Sylvia will contact those who have signed up that week about the amount due (based on # of persons) prior to reserving the trolley. Note: Smaller Gem cars are an option if we have a smaller group size and are similar in cost.
Sign-Up:	Email Sylvia by Sunday 9/25 . (An advance deposit to reserve the trolley will be due to the trolley company 2 weeks before the date of event). Payment will be due mid October.

Place: Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Time: 7:00 meet-up time.
Carpooling: Meet at Sales Center at 6:00 pm

Celebration Dinner - Save the Date!

Sign Up: Signups for this event will be available from Mon. Oct. 17- Mon. Nov. 14.

Place: King's Korner Banquet Hall (Can hold up to 125 persons)
Chesterfield Airport 7511 Airfield Airport
(Enter under front canopy, elevator to lower level on your left)

Time: • 5:00 pm Cocktail Hour (cash bar), • Dinner at 6:00 pm sharp.

Cost: Cost is estimated to be somewhere between $26.00-$30.00 per person.
            This will include tax and gratuity. Noyte: The cost per-person is less with
             more people sharing the banquet fees.
           • After Nov. 14, the exact cost will be determined and shared;
             Payment will then be due to Sylvia no later than Fri. 12/2.

Menu: Advance preselect entree choices of either...
             • Chicken Marsala, • Baked Salmon, or • Vegetable Lasagna
             Served with accompanying vegetable, starch, rolls, cold and
             hot beverages, and celebration dessert.

Holiday Cookie Exchange

Bring 3 dozen of your favorite cookie recipe to give away and
receive 3 dozen of a variety of cookies to bring home.

Place: Highlands Clubhouse (at Lake Margaret).
Time: 3:00 at (LM) Clubhouse.

Sign-Up: Email Sylvia no later than Wednesday, 14-Dec. if you plan on participating.
