The Thursday (Maymont) Guys

"The Thursday Guys" are a group of men from the Highlands who volunteer at the Maymont Estate each Thursday morning. We car pool from the Highlands with driving being rotated through all who volunteer. You are picked up at your home at 7:45, and work is finished ~11:30.

* Our primary task is renovating existing structures, building new things, like fences, etc. Mainly carpentry work but we are "Jacks of all trades". Maymont has some of the tools needed but we also bring our own tools pending the job.

Until recently we had three members Lynn Herman, Rick Seyler, and Lacy, but I have resigned after 18 years due to arthritis problems and pending surgery, so you start out working with Lynn and Rick plus new volunteers.
